All-on-X means a full set of fixed teeth screwed onto titanium implants in your own jaw. The teeth stay in at night. Nothing covers your palate and no adhesive is needed. The X is simply the number of implants your bone can support: four, six or more.

All-on-6 uses six implants or more per arch. The chewing force is shared across the jaw instead of resting on four points. You get a stronger bite, better stability and slower bone loss. Most of our full-arch patients choose this option.

It depends on your case, so we review your scan before you book anything. Once Dr. Rivera has seen it, the number of days goes into your written plan. You can then book flights and time off knowing the dates will hold.
With teeth. In most full-arch cases we fit a fixed provisional prosthesis during your stay. It is screwed in place, not removable. The definitive prosthesis is fitted once the implants have integrated with the bone, usually after a few months.
We hear this often, and the opinion is usually old and based on a flat X-ray. A 3D CBCT scan shows the bone you actually have. Full-arch techniques are designed to work with reduced bone, using angled implants, longer implants, or grafting only where it is really needed. Send us your scan and you will get a clear yes or no.
Not during the surgery. You are under local anaesthesia, and IV sedation is available if the appointment worries you. Afterwards expect swelling and soreness for a few days, controlled with medication. Most patients tell us it was milder than they expected.
In most cases yes, as long as the condition is controlled. Tell your coordinator your medical history and every medication you take at the virtual consultation, especially blood thinners and bone medication. Dr. Rivera then adapts the plan weeks before you travel.
Yes. Dr. Rivera treats in English and Spanish, and both patient coordinators work in the two languages, from your first WhatsApp message to your follow-ups at home. You will never be asked to sign a form you cannot read.
